
Gina Buonaguro is a novelist with a passion for historical fiction and richly imagined worlds. Born in New Jersey and now based in Toronto, she is the author of the award-winning The Virgins of Venice (HarperCollins Canada, 2022) and coauthor of six additional novels. Her work brings the past to life with vivid detail, emotional depth, and unforgettable characters. The recipient of five writing grants, she holds a BA in English with Honors from Villanova University and an MA in English from the University of British Columbia, where she studied on a Fulbright Scholarship.
